Dimitrios Christou is a Dermatologist-Venereologist and Allergist, specialized in Dermato-Oncology, trained and board- certified in Germany. He graduated from the Charité Medical School in Berlin, where he completed his residency in Dermatology and Venereology. He later worked as an attending dermatologist at the Vivantes Neukölln Hospital in Berlin and further specialized in Allergology at the Charité University Clinic where he served as a specialist at the Institute of Allergology (IFA).

Throughout his career, he gained extensive experience in a wide range of classical and modern dermatology, with a particular focus on the treatment of melanoma and other types of skin cancer, as well as dermatologic surgery. In addition, he has developed deep knowledge and clinical expertise in managing chronic dermatological conditions such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. 

Dr. Christou holds a PhD from Charité University, under the supervision of renowned dermatologist and allergist Prof. T. Zuberbier. He has also served as a principal investigator in clinical trials related to atopic dermatitis and mastocytosis.

Dimitrios Christou is a member of several professional associations, including the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the German Dermatological Society (DDG), the Hellenic Dermatological and Venereological Society (ΕΔΑΕ), the Hellenic Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Laser and Aesthetic Dermatology, and the Dermatological and Venereological Society of Cyprus (ΔΑΕΚ).
